Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Digital Fundraising Strategist to support its digital fundraising team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience executing email, SMS, and digital fundraising programs for political campaigns and advocacy clients. You will assist with copywriting, campaign setup, execution, and reporting while learning best practices across platforms and tools used in political fundraising.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a conservative political environment and eager to grow in a fast-paced agency setting.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with drafting persuasive fundraising copy for email and SMS appeals
- Support setup and execution of digital fundraising sends and appeals
- Coordinate campaign timelines, approvals, and deliverables with internal teams and external vendors
- Help track performance metrics and prepare client-ready reports
- Monitor political news and trends to inform messaging and timing
- Participate in daily team communications and contribute to A/B test ideas
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong written communication and editing skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
- Interest in Republican and conservative political campaigns and fundraising
- Willingness to learn digital fundraising platforms, reporting tools, and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Internship or entry-level experience in politics, marketing, or communications
- Basic familiarity with digital fundraising, email, or SMS programs
- Exposure to WinRed or similar political fundraising platforms
- Experience using Canva or other basic graphic/design tools
Compensation & Location
- Employment type: Full-Time
- Salary range (provided by client): $50,000 – $60,000 per year
- Location: State Farm, VA — Hybrid work arrangement (on-site presence expected in State Farm, VA as required)
