What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate to support assurance engagements that strengthen clients’ financial reporting, internal controls, and technology-enabled audit processes. In this role you will:

• Support client engagements using auditing methodologies and IT controls
• Develop process assurance and risk-identification skills to improve client outcomes
• Use AI and automation platforms to streamline audit and testing procedures
• Collaborate with engagement teams to uphold compliance, governance and control standards
• Participate in evaluating internal controls to maintain regulatory compliance
• Contribute to IT governance and control framework development
• Assist in identifying and mitigating operational and technology risks
• Apply intellectual curiosity to research and propose innovative solutions
• Practice active listening to understand client needs and deliver tailored support
• Build foundational digital assurance knowledge to support accurate financial reporting

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
• Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
• Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or meet the educational requirements for CISA licensure
• Entry-level candidates who have completed, or are completing, their final academic year are encouraged to apply

• Overall GPA of ~3.5 or higher
• Experience or interest in leveraging AI/automation to create efficiencies in assurance work
• Strong intellectual curiosity and desire for continual learning
• Familiarity with auditing methodologies, IT governance and internal controls
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and active listening skills
• Interest or coursework in risk identification, process assurance, or IT controls

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and in accordance with applicable employment laws.
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus where applicable
• Competitive benefits package typically includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave (benefit details vary by location)

• Location: Portland, OR (on-site / hybrid arrangements subject to team needs)
• Travel: Up to 20%
