What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level, full‑time Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate role supporting a Confidential Client in Accounting & Finance. You will work on assurance engagements that blend traditional audit work with technology-enabled controls, data analysis, and emerging AI tools. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting client engagements using established auditing methodologies and IT controls
  • Assisting with process assurance, risk identification, and internal control evaluations
  • Using AI and automation platforms to streamline audit procedures and testing
  • Contributing to IT governance, compliance, and documentation efforts
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to deliver client-ready solutions
  • Communicating findings clearly and listening actively to client needs
  • Helping identify potential operational and technology risks and proposing mitigations
  • Building foundational knowledge in digital assurance to support financial reporting accuracy

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or currently pursuing in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
  • At least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Before starting full‑time, meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment OR meet the educational requirements for CISA licensure
  • Entry-level candidates completing their final academic year or recently graduated

What Sets You Apart (Preferred)

  • 3.5 overall GPA preferred
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and appetite for continuous learning
  • Familiarity or comfort with applying AI tools to create efficiencies in audit workflows
  • Experience or coursework in IT governance, internal controls, or process assurance
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and active listening skills
  • Interest in risk identification, compliance, and governance frameworks

Location & Employment Type

  • Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite / client-facing as required)
  • Employment type: Full‑time

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 (range reflects base pay; actual pay within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws)
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
  • Typical benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and paid sick leave — actual benefit details provided by the Confidential Client
