Role overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate for their Assurance practice in Atlanta, NE. This role supports client engagements to improve financial reporting, IT controls, and compliance through auditing methodologies and emerging technologies (including AI platforms). This is a full-time position with travel up to 20%.

What You’ll Do

• Support client engagements by applying auditing methodologies and assessing IT controls
• Assist in evaluating internal controls to maintain regulatory compliance
• Use AI and automation tools to streamline audit workflows and data analysis
• Help develop IT governance frameworks and process-assurance improvements
• Identify and help mitigate operational and compliance risks
• Collaborate with teams, practice leaders, and clients to deliver clear, actionable findings
• Apply intellectual curiosity to propose innovative, practical solutions
• Build foundational knowledge that supports accurate financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
• Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
• Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment or meet the educational requirements for CISA licensure before starting full-time
• Available to start in the timeframe indicated by the role (entry-level / early-career candidates)

Preferred qualifications

• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Hands-on experience or coursework in auditing, IT controls, or risk assessment
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools applied to audit and data analytics
• Strong teamwork, active listening, and client-service skills
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year. Actual pay within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
• Eligible for discretionary annual bonus where applicable.
• Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and leave options (details provided by Confidential Client).
