Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) — Tech Associate to join their Assurance practice in Rosemont, IL. This role focuses on data, analytics and technology solutions used to enhance trust in financial and non-financial reporting. You will support client engagements, help integrate ERP systems, assist with IT controls, and contribute to process improvement initiatives while developing your technical and client-service skills.


Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements by contributing to data, analytics, and technology solutions
  • Assist with ERP system integration to improve business processes
  • Participate in development and implementation of IT controls to maintain data integrity
  • Help drive business process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver quality audit and assurance services
  • Apply intellectual curiosity to explore innovative approaches and improve decision-making
  • Use active listening to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Develop technical skills in data analysis and technology tools to support client projects
  • Contribute to objective assessments that build confidence in financial reporting
  • Maintain transparency and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements

What you must have

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer/Information Science, Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, or a closely related field
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Entry-level / client service associate candidates should be completing or have completed their final academic year

What sets you apart

  • 3.5+ overall GPA preferred
  • Educational qualifications that meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state or education required for CISA licensure prior to starting full-time
  • Experience or coursework with ERP system integration
  • Knowledge of IT controls and compliance frameworks
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and continuous learning mindset
  • Experience leveraging AI or automation to create efficiencies (preferred)

Travel

  • Up to 20%

Compensation & benefits

  • Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year (actual pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location)
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus (where applicable)
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and personal/family leave — details vary by location and role
