Responsibilities

As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) — Data Associate working with our confidential client you'll support digital assurance and business-transformation engagements that help clients increase trust and confidence in financial and non-financial information.

  • Support client engagements on digital assurance and technology projects.
  • Perform data collection, cleansing and basic exploratory analysis to support audit and assurance procedures.
  • Use Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools and Python to extract, transform and analyze datasets.
  • Assist in evaluating internal controls and document findings to support regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with senior auditors and data professionals to translate data insights into practical recommendations.
  • Contribute to team deliverables, ensuring work products meet quality and transparency standards.
  • Apply intellectual curiosity to identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Build client-facing communication skills and develop a professional brand within the engagement team.

Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer/Information Science, Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, Computer Programming, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Entry-level / client service associate role — candidates who have completed or are in their final academic year are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic familiarity with SQL and Python (coursework, projects, or internships acceptable).
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to work in teams.

Preferred / Differentiators

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Educational requirements that make you eligible to sit for the CPA exam or obtain CISA licensure in your intended state of employment before starting full-time.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools and Python for analytics.
  • Experience using AI or automation tools to increase efficiency in data workflows.
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $53,500 — $104,000 per year (actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws).
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid holiday and vacation time, and paid sick leave. Specific benefit details will be provided by the hiring organization.
