What You’ll Do

• Support client engagements by applying auditing methodologies and assessing IT controls.
• Assist with process assurance, risk identification, and internal control evaluations to support financial reporting accuracy.
• Use AI and automation platforms to streamline audit procedures and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to IT governance and compliance initiatives; help design or refine control frameworks.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and listen actively to understand and address client needs.
• Help identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks within client environments.
• Apply intellectual curiosity to research and propose innovative solutions for client challenges.
• Build foundational knowledge in digital assurance practices and how they support broader business strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum overall GPA: 3.0.
• Before starting full-time with the client, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or meet educational requirements for CISA licensure.
• Entry-level / new graduate candidates: you have completed or are completing your final academic year of required coursework.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)

• Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Experience or interest in applying AI / automation to auditing and assurance work.
• Familiarity with auditing methodologies, IT governance, and internal control frameworks.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and passion for learning.
• Experience identifying and assessing risks in business or technical processes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $53,500 — $104,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and location, and will follow applicable employment laws.
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus.
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Specific benefits details are provided by the client.

Location & Travel

• Primary location: San Jose, CA (Silicon Valley area).
• Travel: up to 20% (client engagements and onsite visits as needed).
