What You’ll Do

As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate you will work on assurance engagements that combine traditional audit skills with IT controls, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve financial reporting and governance. You will be part of teams serving clients across industries and will be expected to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and contribute to high-quality deliverables.

• Support client engagements by applying auditing methodologies and IT controls
• Develop process assurance and risk-identification skills to improve client outcomes
• Use AI and data analytics platforms to streamline testing and evidence-gathering
• Collaborate with engagement teams to maintain compliance and governance standards
• Evaluate internal controls and assist with control testing and remediation recommendations
• Apply intellectual curiosity to research solutions and document findings clearly
• Contribute to IT governance, control frameworks, and operational efficiency efforts
• Help identify and mitigate operational and technology risks that affect financial reporting
• Communicate findings and next steps to team members and client contacts

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum overall GPA: 3.0 (competitive candidates often have 3.5 or higher)
• Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment, or meet the educational requirements for CISA licensure, before starting full-time
• Entry-level / early-career role: candidates will have completed or be completing their final academic year of required coursework
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working with technology and data
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work on teams

• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new technical and audit skills
• Experience or coursework using AI/data tools to analyze datasets, automate processes, or augment testing
• Familiarity with auditing methodologies, IT general controls, and risk frameworks
• Team-oriented attitude with active listening and client-service focus
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous or changing environments

Travel & Compensation

• Travel: Up to 20% (client and engagement dependent)
• Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 (actual pay depends on skills, experience, location, and applicable laws). All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and may receive benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid time off, etc.) provided by the Confidential Client.
