Overview

Join a Confidential Client’s Accounting & Finance team as a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate. This entry-level role supports client engagements that improve financial reporting, strengthen IT controls and governance, and apply emerging technologies — including AI — to modernize audit processes. You’ll work with colleagues to deliver objective assessments that help clients manage risk and meet regulatory requirements while you develop technical skills and professional judgment.


What you’ll do

  • Support client audits by applying established auditing methodologies and assessing IT controls
  • Help identify process and control risks and recommend mitigation measures
  • Use AI-enabled tools and platforms to streamline testing and analytics
  • Assist in evaluating internal controls to support regulatory compliance and accurate financial reporting
  • Contribute to IT governance and process-improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with engagement teams and participate in client meetings, demonstrating active listening and client service skills
  • Apply curiosity and critical thinking to explore innovative solutions to client problems
  • Build a foundational understanding of digital assurance practices and their role in broader business strategy

Minimum qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
  • Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
  • Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or meet the educational requirements for CISA licensure (as applicable)
  • Entry-level candidate: completed or completing final academic year of degree requirements

Preferred qualifications / What sets you apart

  • Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher (preferred)
  • Experience or strong interest in applying AI/data analytics to auditing and assurance work
  • Familiarity with IT governance, internal controls frameworks, and auditing methodologies
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
  • Effective communicator and team player

Compensation & benefits

The posted salary range is $53,500 — $104,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will comply with applicable law. Eligible employees may have access to discretionary annual bonuses and benefits that may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Exact benefits and eligibility are provided by the hiring client.
