What You’ll Do

As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate, you will join a Confidential Client’s Assurance practice to support client engagements that improve financial reporting, IT controls, and governance. This is an entry-level client-service role focused on learning auditing methodologies, applying IT controls testing, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to increase efficiency and insight.

Responsibilities

• Support client engagements by applying auditing methodologies and testing IT controls.
• Help evaluate internal controls and assist with risk identification and mitigation.
• Use AI platforms and data tools to streamline auditing and testing workflows.
• Contribute to IT governance, process assurance, and documentation of findings.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to deliver clear, compliant, and actionable client guidance.
• Practice active listening to understand client needs and tailor solutions.
• Develop technical knowledge to support financial reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Learn to communicate findings concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum overall GPA: 3.0.
• Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment, or meet the educational requirements for CISA licensure.
• Entry-level: candidates should have completed or be finishing their final academic year.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

• Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Hands-on experience or coursework using AI/data tools to solve problems or create efficiencies.
• Familiarity with auditing methodologies, IT governance, and internal control frameworks.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply technical guidance in client settings.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (California): $53,500 — $104,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and applicable laws.
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus where applicable.
• Typical benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Specific benefit offerings depend on the Confidential Client’s policies.
