What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate in Denver, CO. In this entry-level role you will support digital audit and assurance engagements focused on financial reporting, IT controls, and process assurance. You'll work on client teams to apply auditing methodologies, leverage AI tools to increase efficiency, and help evaluate internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Support client engagements using auditing methodologies and IT controls
- Apply process assurance and risk-identification techniques to improve client outcomes
- Use AI and automation platforms to streamline audit procedures and testing
- Participate in evaluation and documentation of internal controls for regulatory compliance
- Contribute to IT governance framework development and operational efficiency efforts
- Collaborate with teammates, practice leaders, and clients; practice active listening to understand needs
- Assist in identifying and mitigating risks within client operations
- Build foundational knowledge in digital assurance to support accurate financial reporting
Qualifications (Must Have)
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
- Prior to starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or meet the educational requirements for CISA licensure
- Entry-level role — candidates who are completing or have completed their final academic year are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)
- Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI and analytics to create efficiencies
- Intellectual curiosity and appetite for continual learning
- Familiarity with IT governance, internal controls and auditing methodologies
- Strong teamwork, communication and active-listening skills
- Experience or coursework in risk identification, process assurance, or related topics
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 — $104,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
- Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave (benefit details subject to Confidential Client policy)

- Travel: Up to 20%

- This role may require meeting specific state educational/licensure requirements for CPA or CISA eligibility prior to start
