Role overview
Confidential Client is hiring a full-time Digital Archivist in San Antonio, TX. This hands-on role supports a federally contracted records program and focuses on maintaining a secure, searchable digital archive, processing raw images, and responding to high-volume records requests. Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and expand a comprehensive digital archiving system to ensure quick, accurate retrieval of records.
- Receive, track, and respond to internal and external requests for stored records in a timely manner.
- Process and optimize raw images using appropriate image-processing software and quality-control workflows.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, files, forms, and statistics per agency, licensing, and contract requirements.
- Meet deadlines set by program supervisors and federal partners; participate in required meetings and trainings.
- Preserve confidentiality and comply with professional and ethical standards in all records and interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations.
Who we’re looking for (Qualifications)
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in digital archives, records management, imaging, or similar roles.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written).
- Proficiency with basic image-processing and archiving software; strong computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug tests.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (Confidential Client is not sponsoring employment visas at this time).
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- First aid and CPR certification.
Schedule & Compensation
- Employment type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hourly rate: $18.66 per hour
- ALL benefits available on the first day of employment

Requirements & Conditions
- Must demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural and socio-economic characteristics of the service population.

- Must follow Confidential Client policies, dress code, and standards of conduct.
- Annual influenza vaccination is required or an approved medical/religious exemption must be provided.
