Digital Archivist
The Digital Archivist at Confidential Client is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive digital archiving system, ensuring accurate record keeping and timely retrieval of information to support child welfare services. This role requires strong organizational skills, bilingual communication in English and Spanish, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards to facilitate family reunification and community integration efforts.

What You’ll Do
This role supports the confidential client’s records and case-management operations by maintaining a secure, searchable digital archive and responding to records requests. You will work closely with program staff and federal partners to ensure document integrity, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain a comprehensive digital archiving system and locate or retrieve records on request.
- Receive, track, and respond to high-volume inquiries and requests for stored records from internal and external agencies in a timely manner.
- Process raw images and documents using appropriate imaging/editing software and file formats.
- Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and other documentation per agency policies, contracts, and licensing requirements.
- Ensure all deadlines required by supervisors and federal partners are met.
- Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service trainings and team decisions as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, bilingual (English/Spanish), and experienced with high-volume records workflows in regulated environments.
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
- Required experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience or training; preferred 4+ years.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
- Certifications: First Aid and CPR required.
- Strong computer literacy — comfortable with image-processing and document management software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work sensitively and competently with diverse populations and to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Compensation & Schedule
- Rate: $18.66 per hour.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Location: Los Fresnos, TX (on-site at the confidential client facility).

Requirements & Conditions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to random drug screens while employed.
- Must pass pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.

- Must comply with the confidential client’s policies, including confidentiality, dress code, and other agency standards.
- Confidential client follows CDC immunization recommendations; employees must receive an annual influenza vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption.
