What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their clinical team in Victor, NY. This role supports residential treatment programs for adults with eating and exercise disorders and emphasizes HAES-informed, behavior-focused nutrition care.

• Full oversight of meals prepared for clients on campus, ensuring appropriate portioning, presentation, and documentation.
• Ensure all nutritional services meet established standards, regulations, and clinical program protocols.
• Conduct nutrition assessments and monitor clients’ intake; document findings and progress.
• Collaborate as an active member of multidisciplinary treatment teams and contribute to the Master Treatment Plan.
• Provide individual and group nutrition education and support consistent with HAES-informed, non-weight-focused philosophies.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage campus meal services and food environment to support recovery-oriented goals.
• Perform nutrition screenings, assessments, and ongoing monitoring.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition interventions in coordination with clinical staff.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and discharge planning.
• Support a homelike, accessible kitchen/food environment consistent with treatment goals.
• Maintain compliance with documentation, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related human services field required; Master’s preferred.
• Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) required or licensure-eligible (CDR exam-eligible) and able to obtain state licensure.
• Recent graduates and dietetic interns who have completed accredited programs and are CDR-eligible are encouraged to apply.
• At least one year of experience (or internship) in healthcare; psychiatric or eating disorder experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required before start (must obtain if not already held).
• Strong documentation and computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated empathy for clients in recovery.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay range: $62,535.20 - $80,000 per year.
• Sign-on bonus: $3,000 (as advertised).
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (onsite).
• Employment type: Full-time (Contractor status may apply per posting).

• Demonstrated interest and sensitivity to working with adults with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or exercise addiction.
• Familiarity with HAES-informed, non-weight-focused approaches to nutrition care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary treatment settings and to contribute to treatment planning.
• Comfort working in a residential care environment with a focus on food relationship repair.
