Overview

Confidential client (a healthcare organization) is seeking a PRN Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition services at their Northlake, GA facility. This role delivers nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, patient education and medical nutrition therapy to support patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Key Details

• Employment type: PRN / per-diem (source lists FULL_TIME; scheduling is PRN-focused)
• Location: Northlake, GA
• Estimated pay: $37,549 per year (estimated)
• Required hours: one weekend every 4th week (Saturday and Sunday). Typical shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Weekday shifts may be available to pick up.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans
• Formulate modified diets and provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT)
• Deliver self-management training and patient education
• Accurately document care in the medical record and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensure patient satisfaction, quality care and regulatory agency compliance
• Use resources safely and efficiently to support positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field required
• Licensure & certification:
  • Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) required upon hire
  • Current licensure to practice as a Dietitian in the State of GA required upon hire
• Experience: 1 year of dietitian experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered
• Skills:
  • Clinical nutrition assessment and MNT
  • Strong documentation and EMR familiarity
  • Clear patient and team communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities during shifts
