What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a part-time Dietitian to deliver clinical nutrition services in a hospital/acute-care setting. In this role you will support patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, and good public relations by providing evidence-based nutrition care.
- Provide clinical nutrition services including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based nutrition interventions.
- Develop and implement modified diet plans and therapeutic nutrition orders.
- Deliver self-management training and patient education on medical nutrition therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, physicians, allied health) to coordinate patient care.
- Document nutrition assessments, care plans, and outcomes clearly and in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress; modify nutrition plans as needed.
- Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives related to nutrition services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required.
- Registered Dietitian credential (Commission on Dietetic Registration) required upon hire.
- Current licensure to practice as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia required upon hire.
- Prefer 1 year of experience as a dietitian or supervised experience in a clinical setting (entry-level candidates with supervised experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication, patient-education, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
Schedule & Location
- This is a part-time position based in Bogart, GA.
