What You’ll Do

The Confidential Client is hiring a Dietician (Per Diem) to provide clinical nutrition care for patients in a hospital setting. This role focuses on nutrition assessment, individualized care planning, diet modification, patient and family education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

• Screen and assess patients for nutritional risk and current nutritional status
• Develop, document, and implement age- and condition-specific nutrition care plans with measurable goals
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition plans and revise as needed
• Provide nutrition counseling and food–drug interaction education to patients and caregivers
• Recommend and monitor nutrition support modalities (enteral and parenteral nutrition) as appropriate
• Consider cultural/religious needs when designing meal plans and interventions
• Educate and consult with medical, nursing, and nutrition staff on clinical nutrition principles
• Support performance improvement initiatives and participate in department projects and in‑services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (ACEND‑accredited program or equivalent)
• 0–2 years of clinical experience preferred; internship completion required (ACEND)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions
• Demonstrated entry‑level clinical nutrition abilities and documentation skills

Certifications & Licenses

• Registered Dietitian (RD) required, or must pass the registration exam within 3 months of employment
• Active Commonwealth of Massachusetts dietitian license (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Preferred: Board Certification in Nutrition Support, Renal, or Diabetes (if applicable)

Schedule & Location

• Location: Brighton, MA (Confidential Client facility)
• Employment type: Per diem / Contract (flexible schedule consistent with per‑diem staffing)
• This role serves hospital patients across clinical and age groups; schedule will be set according to department needs

Compensation & Benefits

• Rate: $24.76 – $36.06 per hour (estimated range; final offer considers experience, licensure, and internal equity)
• Estimated annual equivalent shown elsewhere is for reference only; actual pay is hourly for per‑diem roles
