What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Device Refresh Tech for an on-site, contract role in Orange, CA. This hands-on position focuses on preparing and deploying end-user devices and providing basic desktop support.
- Assist with device and equipment setups (laptops, monitors, peripherals)
- Unbox, stage, and inventory hardware
- Troubleshoot and install hardware and software; perform OS imaging and configuration
- Connect and verify VDIs and telephony/talking stations
- Provide technical support to end users and escalate issues when needed
- Follow device-handling, labeling, and chain-of-custody procedures
Who You Are / Qualifications
We welcome entry-level candidates. Required skills and experience include:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience
- 0–1 year experience with IT/device or desktop setups (entry-level candidates encouraged)
- Proficiency with computer installations, operating systems (Windows 10), and basic hardware support
- Strong customer service, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
- Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to follow process/checklists
Location, Schedule & Compensation
- Location: Onsite — Orange, CA

- Estimated pay: $73,876 per year (estimated; reported by source)
