Responsibilities

This role supports a large-scale laptop refresh and device deployment program. You will work in a PC logistics/IT support environment and follow documented procedures to prepare, inventory, and stage devices for end users.

• Reimage and configure laptops following documented imaging procedures
• Complete basic user profile setup and initial device login checks
• Track and maintain accurate inventory and assignment records
• Prepare laptops for shipment and deployment to end users
• Receive returned devices; process, sanitize, and store equipment correctly
• Assist with asset management and inventory reconciliation activities
• Collect and transport equipment between offices or storage locations as required
• Follow detailed processes and instructions with a high degree of accuracy
• Maintain organized workspaces and inventory areas to support large-scale deployments

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

We welcome entry-level candidates and those seeking a career start in IT support. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow precise instructions.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Basic computer literacy; familiarity with Windows laptops preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment and shipping boxes safely
• Reliable transportation and willingness to move between nearby buildings/sites as needed
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Positive work ethic and eagerness to learn

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (optional)
• Previous experience in inventory, shipping/receiving, warehouse, retail, logistics, customer service, or technical support
• Prior experience with asset management, device deployment, or imaging tools

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (Confidential client)
• Contract position; compensation within the range depends on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors
