  • Assist project teams with design development using sketches, diagrams, massing studies, and electronic models.
  • Produce architectural drawings and documentation: site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation graphics.
  • Develop and maintain BIM models and work with model-based workflows to coordinate architectural elements.
  • Participate in design reviews, pin-ups, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
  • Support contract administration tasks and attend project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in site analysis, research of precedents, and implementation of sustainable design strategies.
  • Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical) to align with design intent.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Approximately 2+ years of professional experience preferred; internship experience considered beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of accessibility and applicable building codes, and an understanding of building construction systems.
  • Ability to produce accurate floor plans, wall sections, and construction details.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail; ability to check your own work for completeness and accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for sharing abstract design ideas clearly.
  • Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively within a project team across all phases of design.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record as required.

Preferred Skills & Software

  • Revit (BIM workflows)
  • Experience with rendering/visualization tools (Enscape, SketchUp is a plus)
  • Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Bluebeam or similar PDF/markup tools
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to sketch and graphically communicate design concepts

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range (where required by law): $60,700.00 - $85,000.00 annually (locations include MN, OH, VT, and various CA, ME, NY, VA areas). Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and work location.
  • Typical benefits for regular employees may include medical/dental/vision plans, wellness accounts, retirement savings options, employee stock purchase program, tuition reimbursement, professional membership support, paid time off, and disability/life insurance. Specific benefits depend on employment type and location.
