What You’ll Do
This entry-level Designer / Drafter will join the Planning team at our Confidential Client and work alongside planning and design professionals to develop design and technical solutions under general supervision. Typical responsibilities include:
- Undertake a variety of assignments applying standard architectural and planning techniques for small projects or portions of larger projects
- Produce design layouts and presentation-ready graphics; research, compile, and document project information
- Review drawings and designs for conformance with project specifications and standards; implement directed revisions
- Support project teams and coordinate with internal staff as needed to meet deliverables
- Prepare materials for project meetings and client presentations
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be early-career planning or design professionals with relevant academic preparation and foundational software skills:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s in Architecture (with urban planning emphasis) or a Master’s in Architecture; Master’s in Urban Planning / City & Regional Planning strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Revit / BIM and AutoCAD
- Experience with SketchUp modeling, Adobe Photoshop, and preparation of presentation materials
- Strong verbal and graphic communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving mindset, good listening skills, and strong follow-through
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team
- Commitment to professional growth toward roles in design, architecture, or planning
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without restrictions; visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,500 - $75,000 per year (placement within this range will be based on education, experience, and qualifications)

Workplace & Schedule
- Location: Pleasanton, CA (hybrid role)
