What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level antenna/electrical engineer to join an RF/Effectors design team. You’ll contribute to antenna and radome design projects across the product lifecycle, run modeling and simulation, interpret results, and work with interdisciplinary teams to verify performance against requirements.

  • Execute antenna modeling and simulation on workstations and high-performance computing (HPC) resources.
  • Run and validate measurement and simulation data; compare results to requirement specifications.
  • Collaborate with thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems engineers during design cycles.
  • Apply engineering tools and best practices to troubleshoot and optimize solutions.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, test plans, and design reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Use computational EM (or equivalent simulation tools) to model antenna and radome performance.
  • Prepare and run simulations on HPC clusters; manage jobs with schedulers such as SLURM.
  • Analyze simulation and measurement outputs and produce clear, actionable reports.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to implement design changes.
  • Support verification and test activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field by start date.
  • Practical experience or coursework in antenna/radio-frequency fundamentals or interest in antenna engineering.
  • Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, or similar high-level scientific programming languages.
  • Experience or familiarity with HPC environments and job schedulers (for example, SLURM).
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to apply engineering principles from coursework/projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic or project experience with antenna/radome modeling and measurement.
  • Familiarity with computational electromagnetics tools and workflows.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and cross-discipline collaboration.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to grow in a product-focused engineering environment.

Clearance & Eligibility

  • Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
