About the Role

As a Deposit Operations Specialist I (entry-level), you will perform routine deposit account processing and maintenance to ensure accurate member records and transaction integrity. This role emphasizes learning internal policies, procedures, and systems while delivering dependable operational support in a fast-paced banking operations environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Process basic account maintenance requests (address changes, name updates, account closures)
  • Review account documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Perform routine transaction processing and data entry
  • Support daily operational queues and tasks
  • Escalate exceptions or discrepancies to appropriate staff
  • Follow regulatory, security, and internal control procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Communications or related field is a plus
  • 0–2 years of experience in financial services, payment processing, banking, or operations preferred
  • Basic understanding of payment processing concepts; ACH/NACHA knowledge is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to follow procedures, manage workload, and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable, curious, and eager to learn

Compensation & Work Authorization

  • Pay range: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour (base). Final pay depends on skills, education, and experience.
  • Hybrid work: required in‑office minimum 3 days/week.
  • At this time, the confidential client will not sponsor new applicants for U.S. employment authorization (e.g., H‑1B, OPT, CPT, TN). Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
