Overview

Confidential Client is hiring for an entry-level Delivery Consultant role as part of an early-career sales/consulting program. This full-time position based in Durham, NC offers hands-on experience in cloud and systems implementation, client engagements, and business process transformation. Ideal candidates will be recent graduates in a technical discipline who want to build consulting, technology, and client-facing skills.


What You’ll Do

You will work with client teams to understand business needs and help deliver technology-enabled solutions. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assist with cloud migration and application implementation or upgrades
  • Run or support workshops, stakeholder interviews, and meetings
  • Document requirements from product owners and business leads
  • Develop process maps to capture As-Is and To-Be scenarios
  • Translate client requirements into analytical specifications for solution implementation
  • Define current and future operational scenarios (processes, use cases, plans, solutions)
  • Project business value and communicate KPI impact to key stakeholders
  • Develop clear, audience-specific communications and documentation
  • Work collaboratively in Agile environments
  • Apply Design Thinking to help solve client challenges
  • Analyze data to support conclusions, recommendations, and organization design

Required Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by start date in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field
  • Strong ability to grasp new concepts and adapt thinking and behavior as required
  • Curiosity and a mindset for innovation—generate and apply new ideas that improve outcomes
  • Ability to work constructively with diverse individuals and groups
  • Effective self-management: prioritize multiple objectives and manage time and resources systematically
  • Planning and organizational skills to structure and complete work methodically
  • Problem-solving skills and familiarity with tools/approaches for anticipating and resolving operational or process issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate across teams
  • Ownership mindset—take responsibility for assignments and results
  • Basic understanding of Hybrid Cloud strategies (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure), AI, networking concepts, and DevOps practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience

The following are helpful but not required:

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, .NET, HTML
  • SQL skills; understanding of data structures and ETL concepts
  • Data analysis experience and comfort working with datasets to inform decisions
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and business cases
  • Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and willingness to take ownership beyond initial scope

  • Estimated base salary: $66,919 per year (estimated)
  • Employment type: Full-time
