Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Deals - DTDS - Analytics Associate to join its Advisory/Deals analytics team in Rosemont, IL. In this role you'll apply data analysis, Python, and machine learning techniques to contract and transaction-related datasets to identify risk, obligations, performance insights, and compliance indicators that support deal strategy, diligence, execution, and post-deal value creation.

What You’ll Do

You will support client engagements across the transaction lifecycle, working alongside senior staff to deliver data-driven recommendations. Typical responsibilities include:

• Conduct complex data analysis to surface actionable insights for deal teams
• Develop and implement data models and algorithms to support analytics workflows
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources to create unified views
• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support efficient analysis
• Use Python (and relevant libraries) and apply basic machine learning approaches to solve analytical challenges
• Produce reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
• Contribute to the design and development of data warehouse/business intelligence solutions
• Collaborate with team members and participate in client-facing deliverables
• Engage in continuous learning and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (entry-level role). Candidates in their final academic year are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in deals/transaction work
• Basic programming experience (Python preferred)
• Ability to work in a collaborative, client-facing environment and travel as required

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Degree or coursework in Applied Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics and Management, Finance, Statistics & Data Science, Computing & Information Systems, Big Data & Business Analytics, or similar
• Preferred cumulative GPA ~3.3 (where applicable)
• Experience with machine learning, data integration projects, big-data tools, or data warehouse technologies
• Experience or interest in applying AI/ML to contract analytics or commercial diligence
• Strong communication and visualization skills (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib)

Logistics & Compensation

• Location: Rosemont, IL
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Travel: Up to 80%
• Salary Range: $61,000 - $100,000 per year (Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.)
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, personal and family leave, and other benefits per Confidential Client policies
• Sponsorship: Confidential Client does not intend to sponsor H-1B lottery petitions for this role (refer to client policy for exceptions)
