Role overview

This is an entry-level Deal Desk Specialist role supporting a growing Deal Desk within a SaaS brand-visibility organization. You will help process and track sales deals, support quote and contract workflows, and coordinate between Sales, Finance, and Legal to drive timely approvals and clean deal execution. This role is based in Malden, MA and reports to the Deal Desk team.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist in processing sales requests and ensure accurate deal documentation and tracking.
  • Review basic quotes and proposals for completeness and flag any missing or inconsistent items.
  • Support generation of standard sales quotes using CPQ tools under supervision.
  • Help prepare, organize, and distribute contract documents and related paperwork.
  • Track deal progress and update CRM/CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain current status.
  • Respond to internal inquiries on deal status and provide routine administrative support.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to gather required information for approvals.
  • Maintain organized deal files and assist in documenting Deal Desk processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Support data integrity in CRM/contract systems and assist with ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years in a deal desk, sales operations, sales support, or similar role — internship or related administrative experience in SaaS/tech is relevant.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of sales workflows, contracts, and subscription-based pricing models.
  • Familiarity with CRM and contract/CPQ tools (Salesforce, Ironclad, CPQ systems) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple requests.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn Deal Desk best practices.
  • English proficiency required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The annual Total Cash Compensation salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000. Actual pay within this range depends on several factors, including work location and individual qualifications.
  • Standard benefits typically include health insurance, travel insurance, Employee Assistance Program, paid parental leave, and participation in Employee Resource Groups.
  • Additional perks and incentive programs (e.g., commission/bonus opportunities) may apply depending on role and team.
