About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Deal Desk Specialist to join its Deal Desk team supporting Sales operations. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who want hands-on exposure to quote-to-cash processes, CPQ tools, CRM systems (like Salesforce), and contract administration within a SaaS/sales environment.
What You’ll Do
The Deal Desk Specialist will support accurate, timely deal processing and cross-functional coordination. Responsibilities include:
- Assist in processing sales requests and ensuring accurate deal documentation
- Review basic sales quotes and proposals for completeness and accuracy
- Support preparation and distribution of standard contract documents
- Track and update deal progress in CRM/CPQ systems
- Generate quotes using CPQ tools under supervision and help maintain quote templates
- Respond to basic inquiries about deal status and documentation
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to gather information for approvals
- Maintain organized deal files, ensure process compliance, and assist in documenting deal desk procedures
- Help maintain data accuracy in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and contract tools (e.g., Ironclad)
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who demonstrates attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- 0–2 years in deal desk, sales operations, sales support, or similar role (SaaS/tech experience a plus)
- Basic understanding of sales processes and contract/quote workflows
- Familiarity with CRM and CPQ tools (Salesforce, Ironclad, or similar) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- English proficiency
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Total Cash Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000 (actual pay depends on location and qualifications)
