Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Data Transfer Agent to administer Data Transfer Agent (DTA) duties for information systems processing National Security Information. The role ensures government-mandated policies for secure data transfers are implemented, monitored, and improved. This is a full-time position based in North Springfield, VA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support agencies' data transfer policies and procedures.
  • Support Network Privileged User policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and approve DR time and reporting (timecards).
  • Develop and track DR performance goals, monitor achievements, and perform annual assessments.
  • Review and approve media and equipment requests for items entering the customer facility.
  • Provide and implement strategies for the DTO team.
  • Update DTO policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Develop monthly compliance reports and centrally manage areas for improvement.
  • Communicate new processes and provide training for staff.
  • Capture and report DTO performance metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • Associate's degree + 4+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • 6+ years of relevant experience without degree.
  • Operational experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience supporting the Intelligence Community or equivalent mission-driven environments.
  • DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level I certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance at time of hire.
  • Ability to successfully pass background and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Prior experience supporting government customers and secure facilities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to obtain CI Polygraph (if required).
  • Strong independent work skills while remaining effective in a team setting.
  • Ability to respond to on-call requests during off-hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Experience managing multiple, time-sensitive efforts in a fast-paced contracting environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional phone skills and customer-service orientation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications.
  • Experience training end users on technical issues and providing phone-based technical assistance.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
