What You’ll Do
This posting is for the Data Scientist Talent Network supporting a Confidential Client building AI-driven products. Joining the talent network means we’ll consider you for upcoming part-time / associate-level data science roles across projects that include experimentation, model development, and product-focused analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define impact-driven data science work.
- Prototype and iterate on machine learning models to solve product problems and improve user experience.
- Analyze diverse datasets to generate actionable insights and guide product decisions.
- Design and evaluate experiments to measure the business impact of models and features.
- Document models, assumptions, and validation results; communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re collecting profiles of candidates who are eager to contribute to applied ML and data-driven product work at an early-stage AI company. Ideal candidates typically have:
- Strong foundation in statistics and applied machine learning.
- Practical experience with Python and data-science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Solid data querying skills (SQL) and experience working with structured datasets.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product problems into testable data tasks and models.
- Clear written and verbal communication—able to present technical results to product partners.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with deep learning for text, vision, or sequential data.
- Familiarity with model deployment, basic MLOps, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Prior work at startups or in fast-moving product teams.
- Open-source contributions or a public portfolio of projects/papers.
