Role summary

This opportunity is for an early-career Data Scientist supporting healthcare analytics initiatives for a Confidential Client. You will work with large, complex datasets to support analytics, reporting, forecasting, and exploratory ML/NLP projects using modern data platforms and tools.

What you’ll do

• Support the development and maintenance of analytical datasets and data pipelines in Snowflake and related cloud data platforms
• Analyze structured and semi-structured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights
• Contribute to statistical, machine learning, and forecasting models under senior guidance
• Write clean, documented SQL and Python to support analysis, modeling, and reporting
• Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI) that clearly communicate findings to business stakeholders
• Perform feature engineering, data preparation, validation, and documentation to ensure reproducible analytics
• Participate in exploratory work for document analytics, NLP, and LLM-enabled use cases where appropriate
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions
• Support data quality, governance, and compliance aligned with enterprise standards
• Prepare clear summaries, documentation, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, or related fields (including internships/project work)
• Proficiency with Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
• Foundational knowledge of statistical analysis, data exploration, and machine learning techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in collaborative teams

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Exposure to healthcare analytics, Medicare, or quality-related datasets
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Experience with semi-structured/unstructured data (JSON, text) and NLP techniques
• Past work or academic projects that include LLM-enabled use cases, document analytics, or forecasting

Additional details

• Anticipated weekly hours: 40
• Time type: Full time
• Pay range: $79,310.00 - $158,620.00 (base annual). Actual offer will depend on experience, education, and geography. This position may be eligible for bonus/short-term incentives.
