About the role

Confidential Client is seeking experienced Data Scientists / ML practitioners to review, assess, and annotate data science documentation used to train large language models. This is a contract opportunity paid at $100/hour with flexible availability (up to 20 hours/week). Candidates should have hands-on, day-to-day experience producing or reviewing data science documents and be detail-oriented communicators.

What You’ll Do

• Review and assess data science documentation and examples for clarity, accuracy, and real-world applicability
• Judge whether content and structure reflect material you would encounter in day-to-day data science practice
• Annotate, rate, and provide targeted feedback on documents to guide model training
• Follow project guidelines and annotation standards; deliver consistent, high-quality labels
• Communicate findings and edge cases clearly in written form

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer
• Current, hands-on familiarity with the kinds of documents your team writes and reviews (not just theoretical knowledge)
• Strong Python and SQL fluency
• Practical experience with modeling and experimentation workflows
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Comfortable working on a contract, remote-friendly basis and meeting deliverable timelines
