Overview

This is a hybrid, entry-level Data Scientist role (2 days remote / 3 days in-office) based in Malvern, PA. The Data Scientist will join the Data Science team to build and validate predictive models and analytics solutions that support business decisions across marketing, operations, investments, and finance. You will work closely with senior data scientists and cross-functional partners to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions to address business challenges.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation to ensure accuracy and scalability.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to predictive modeling efforts for customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
• Assist in designing and evaluating experiments (A/B tests and controlled experiments) and interpret results.
• Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, investments, finance) to align analytics with business needs.
• Support senior data scientists on projects aimed at optimizing operations and enhancing customer experience.
• Continuously learn and share best practices in data science and machine learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
• Basic understanding of machine learning models and evaluation techniques.
• Experience or familiarity with Databricks is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills; able to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Location & Work Model

• Location: Malvern, PA (hybrid) — 2 days remote, 3 days in the Malvern office.
• Applicants should be able to commute to Malvern, PA as required by the hybrid schedule.
