What You’ll Do

  • Lead development and maintenance of predictive models for conversion, approval, funding, loss, and lifetime value across third‑party acquisition funnels (ping tree and offer wall).
  • Build and operationalize lead scoring and real‑time valuation models used for routing and acceptance logic.
  • Design, run, and analyze A/B and multivariate experiments across acquisition channels to measure model impact on business KPIs.
  • Automate ETL and data pipelines to ensure reliable training data, reporting, and reproducible model runs.
  • Partner with Marketing, Credit Risk, Engineering, and Operations to evaluate new lead sources and traffic types.
  • Implement monitoring and model performance dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and troubleshoot data quality issues.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic decisions and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all modeling and data practices comply with company policies and applicable industry regulations.

Who You Are (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related). Advanced degree preferred.
  • 2+ years in data science, analytics, or a related role with emphasis on digital lead generation or customer acquisition.
  • Hands‑on experience with Python (Pandas, scikit‑learn, XGBoost) and model explainability tools (e.g., SHAP).
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production (Python or R).
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate statistical insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work cross‑functionally.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Background in consumer lending, credit‑based customer acquisition, or related financial services analytics.
  • Experience with real‑time scoring, routing logic, and integrating models into decisioning systems (ping trees, offer walls).
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices, model monitoring, and feature store concepts.
  • Prior experience running attribution measurement for paid and third‑party lead channels.

  • Physical requirements: typical office environment tasks (sitting for long periods, typing, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.).
