What You’ll Do

This Denver-based Data Scientist I will join a growing Decision Science team and deliver analytic insight that drives commercial performance across Sportsbook and Casino products for our confidential client. You will partner with senior commercial stakeholders and cross-functional analytics teams to inform strategy, optimize personalization and promotions, and improve player lifetime value.

• Develop a deep understanding of the iGaming ecosystem (Sportsbook & Casino) and player behavior.
• Partner with commercial teams to translate business questions into analytic approaches and measurable recommendations.
• Build, validate, and maintain ML models (e.g., LTV, segmentation, uplift) that inform acquisition, retention, and personalization.
• Contribute to the design, deployment, and iterative improvement of automated personalization and promotion engines.
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B/n, quasi-experiments) to measure true incremental value and guide commercial decisions.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and help operationalize data-driven recommendations.
• Stay current on machine learning trends and technologies relevant to commercial analytics and iGaming.

Experience & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or similar).
• Strong SQL proficiency and strong proficiency in Python; experience building and validating production-ready ML models.
• Solid foundation in statistics (regression, clustering, A/B testing) and experimental design.
• Experience with causal inference techniques, uplift modeling, or other approaches to measure incremental impact.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders and present clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with an outcome-oriented mindset.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Previous experience in iGaming (Sportsbook or Casino) or other gaming/entertainment analytics.
• Experience with Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) modeling and marketing efficiency optimization.
• Familiarity experimenting with Generative AI (LLM-based analysis, automation, or insight generation) and identifying commercial use cases.
• Experience deploying models or analytics solutions at scale.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $82,000 - $110,000 USD (range reflects geographical compensation zones and will be finalized with the confirmed offer zone).
