What You’ll Do

• Act as an individual contributor to build and grow a data science function for a confidential client in Consumer Services.
• Learn the client’s internal data sources and business processes quickly to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Design, prototype, and deliver data models and algorithms that drive customer growth, increase revenue, improve satisfaction, and optimize resource utilization.
• Use generative AI and large language models (LLMs) to augment analytics, automate workflows, and accelerate model development.
• Collaborate across departments to translate business questions into data-driven solutions and present findings to stakeholders.
• Partner with IT and software teams to productionize models, build monitoring pipelines, and maintain documentation and reproducibility.
• Contribute to tooling, frameworks, and go-to-market processes that enable scalable, sustainable model deployment.
• Produce clear reports and presentations that communicate insights, recommendations, and business value to leadership and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (data science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, computer science, or similar); master’s degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of professional experience (entry-level).
• Practical experience with generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience building or training models using cloud ML platforms such as Azure ML, Databricks, Google Cloud AI, or AWS SageMaker.
• Scripting and data manipulation skills in SQL and Python (PySpark preferred); R experience is a plus.
• Data visualization experience using Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile teams and delivering incremental value.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in ambiguous settings and converting vague requests into structured analyses.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Prior experience deploying automated model training, monitoring, and drift detection.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and model packaging for production.
• Industry exposure to Consumer Services or related B2C settings.
