Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Data Scientist to work on predictive modeling, analytics, and production-ready data solutions. This full-time role is based in Florida (FL), United States. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze raw data: assess quality, clean, and structure datasets for downstream processing and modeling.
• Design accurate, scalable predictive models and algorithms for classification, regression, and clustering.
• Prototype analytical solutions and collaborate with engineering to move models to production.
• Generate clear, actionable insights and visualizations to support business decisions.
• Communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders and iterate on requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 1–2 years of experience in quantitative analytics, data modeling, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, clustering, and classification techniques.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language used for data science (Python, C, C++, Java, or SQL).
• Familiarity with big data frameworks and visualization tools (Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Tableau, or similar).
• Strong collaboration skills and an eagerness to learn and scale analytical work.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience deploying models to production or working with MLOps pipelines.
• Background with cloud data services or distributed data platforms.
• Portfolio or examples of past projects (not required) demonstrating model development and business impact.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary (as listed): USD 80 — 130 per YEAR.
• Benefits: standard full-time benefits (medical, dental, paid time off) as offered by the Confidential Client.
