What You’ll Do

• Design and develop clear, actionable data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to communicate insights.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to generate reports and data-driven recommendations.
• Work with databases for data ingestion, transformation, reporting, and management.
• Apply machine learning techniques for cleaning, exploratory analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Perform feature engineering, feature selection, and data reduction to produce metrics that support evidence-based decisions.
• Automate data processing and reporting pipelines to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models and communicate technical findings.
• Support analysis across the full system lifecycle (concept, design, modeling, testing, operation, maintenance).
• Interface with stakeholders — including customers, program management, and senior leadership — to align analysis with business and mission objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Python development experience, including libraries such as numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn for production-level work.
• Strong SQL and database management skills (e.g., Microsoft SQL, MySQL).
• Experience with software development best practices: documentation, testing, bug tracking, version control, and MLOps principles.
• Active and transferable U.S. government DoD Top Secret security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within the past five years.
• Advanced degree in a STEM field.
• Hands-on experience with tools and workflows like Jupyter, scikit-learn, Tableau, MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
• Background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital thread concepts, and DevSecOps.
• Experience diagnosing RF and system power issues.
• Familiarity implementing MLOps / deployment pipelines for machine learning models.

Contract & Location Details

• Employment type: Contract (12–24 months).
• Work arrangement: Hybrid in Dallas, TX (on-site attendance as required).
• Clearance & eligibility: Active and transferable DoD Top Secret clearance required before start. U.S. citizenship required.
