What You’ll Do
You’ll join a collaborative analytics team to turn data into actionable insights that support product and business decisions. This entry-level Data Scientist role focuses on building predictive and classification models, analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models
- Use Python and SQL for data exploration, modeling, and ETL tasks
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate results
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to operationalize models
- Monitor model performance, iterate, and document methodologies
- Present insights and recommended actions to product and business teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong practical experience with Python and SQL
- Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn (or similar libraries)
- Understanding of core statistics and common machine learning techniques (regression, classification, cross-validation)
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Familiarity with feature engineering, model deployment basics, or MLOps concepts
- Internship or project experience applying ML to real-world datasets
- Knowledge of additional libraries (XGBoost, LightGBM) or deep learning frameworks is a plus

- This role is open to applicants authorized to work in the United States. F-1 OPT / STEM OPT candidates are welcome to apply.
- Job location: Baltimore, MD (telecommute/remote-friendly per the client’s posting). Final hiring, payroll, and benefits are provided by the confidential client.
