About the role
We are hiring a Data Scientist (Associate) to join a confidential client’s Data Science & Analytics team. This hands-on role partners with product, growth, finance, and operations to define problems, design analyses and experiments, build dashboards and reports, and deliver actionable insights that drive growth. You will own end-to-end analytical projects that influence product decisions, marketing optimization, AI/automation efforts, and strategic partnerships.
What you’ll do
- Partner with business units to translate strategic needs into well-scoped analytical problems
- Design and execute analyses, including cohort, funnel, and retention studies
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics and KPIs
- Design, run, and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate initiatives and recommend optimizations
- Surface clear, data-driven recommendations to product, marketing, and operations
- Drive improvements to data processes, tooling, and models to increase analytical velocity and accuracy
- Communicate insights and technical results clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Own projects from problem framing through analysis, recommendations, and implementation support
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Proficiency in SQL for analysis (experience with ClickHouse is a plus)
- Practical experience with Python for data manipulation and modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-structuring skills; comfort with ambiguous, open-ended problems
- Experience with experimentation and A/B testing methodologies
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Metabase or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence stakeholders
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with cross-functional teams
