What You’ll Do

  • Work with petabyte-scale datasets and high-velocity event streams to measure product, business, and model health.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, automated reporting, and monitoring systems that surface KPIs and detect anomalies.
  • Develop scalable analytics pipelines to support timely issue diagnosis and long-term trend analysis.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis, root-cause investigations, and hypothesis-driven deep dives to inform stakeholders.
  • Assist with experiment design, metric computation, and interpretation of A/B test results.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, research scientists, product, and business teams to translate questions into analytics solutions and implement improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
  • 0–3 years of practical experience in data analytics or data science (internships and projects count).
  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one analytical programming language (Python preferred).
  • Basic understanding of core statistical concepts and introductory modeling techniques (variance, confidence intervals, significance testing).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Curious, proactive mindset and eagerness to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Data Science or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Superset, or Metabase.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow).
  • Prior exposure to A/B testing, experiment design, or statistical evaluation.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, performance marketing metrics, or online marketplace dynamics.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • CA base pay range: $120,000—$180,000 USD (range provided for California locations).
  • Equity eligibility (role-dependent), medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance.

  • Note: Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and role level.
