Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Data Reporting and Analytics Consultant II, Biostatistics in Pleasanton, CA. This hands-on analytics role supports clinical and operational teams by preparing, analyzing, and visualizing data; building reproducible statistical outputs; and contributing to publications and reporting under the guidance of senior statisticians.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, merge, and transform data from multiple sources to prepare analytic datasets.
• Create summary tables, charts, and BI reports to support stakeholder decision-making.
• Write reusable program code and macros to automate data preparation and reporting.
• Support development and execution of statistical models and descriptive analyses under senior guidance.
• Review data for quality issues, document data decisions, and follow reproducible processes.
• Draft method and results sections for internal reports and external publications with mentorship.
• Break approved analytic proposals into discrete process steps and help manage assigned timelines.
• Support end users and contribute to process documentation and procedure manuals.

• Comfortable documenting procedures and preparing materials for publication.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in biostatistics or a directly related analytic role.

Preferred qualifications

• At least one publication as an author in medical or scientific journals.
• One year of medical or health analytics experience.
• Prior exposure to clinical or healthcare datasets and publication workflows.
