Data Protection Analyst
The Data Protection Analyst at Confidential Client is an entry-level, full-time, on-site role focused on identifying and mitigating personally identifiable information (PII) exposures using proprietary technology. The analyst works within the Security Operations Team to analyze alerts, support client protection efforts, and contribute to vulnerability assessments while collaborating closely with engineering and other teams in a fast-paced environment.

Overview
Confidential client, a SaaS provider in the IT space, is hiring an entry-level Data Protection Analyst to join the Security Operations Team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brentwood, TN (5 days/week) focused on identifying and reducing PII exposure across open and deep web sources using proprietary tools and SOP-driven workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor, analyze, and act on alerts generated by proprietary privacy and security tools.
- Investigate open- and deep-web exposures of personally identifiable information (PII) and assess risk.
- Execute basic vulnerability and exposure mitigation tasks to protect client data.
- Follow and apply 360-style intelligence and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in daily workflows.
- Document findings, create clear tickets/feedback, and collaborate with engineering on product improvements.
- Multitask in a dynamic environment while producing accurate, timely protection outcomes.
- Support a team-focused environment; escalate issues when needed and help maintain high standards of performance.
Location & Schedule
- On-site, Brentwood, TN — this role requires presence in the office 5 days per week.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Digital-native comfort with online research and internet navigation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook).
- Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
- Positive, team-focused attitude; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in-person and maintain consistent attendance.
- Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree OR 2–3 years supporting technology-enabled operational processes.
- Preferred:
- B.S. in Information Technology or related field and/or experience in a corporate security environment.
Compensation & Employment Type
- Employment type: FULL_TIME (on-site)
- Salary: $55,000 per year (as stated by the client)
