Overview
This entry-level Data Governance & Enablement Analyst role supports data governance operations and specifically assists with change management and employee engagement activities. The position is full-time and based onsite at 4910 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn, OH. The role reports to governance leads and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to help ensure data integrity, compliance, and adoption of governance practices. The hiring employer for this role is a confidential client.
What You’ll Do
- Support change management activities: help manage projects, develop communications, and assist with training related to governance initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement events and coordination tied to governance or analytics programs.
- Maintain and track governance documentation: standards, procedures, controls, job aids, and training materials.
- Support data quality efforts: assessments, observation/issue logging, and remediation coordination.
- Assist with development, enhancement, execution, and testing of governance controls.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to surface governance metrics and support executive updates.
- Help with stakeholder communications, meeting logistics, and governance forum coordination.
- Contribute to metadata cataloging, data lineage mapping, and stewardship documentation.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to build governance knowledge across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior team members on governance initiatives and special projects.
- Research industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement of governance processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred — OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in data governance, analytics, or a related field (required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder outreach, training, and documentation.
- Ability to organize and track documentation, tasks, and issues reliably.
- Comfortable preparing basic reports and presentations for teams and leadership.
- Able to participate in occasional travel (may include overnight stays).
- Must be able to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
- Physical requirements: general office environment; prolonged sitting, frequent use of a PC; occasional lifting up to ~10 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $71,000 - $125,000 annually. Placement within the range depends on skills, experience, and location.
- Eligible for incentive compensation where applicable (production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives).
- This position is eligible for the confidential client’s standard benefits package; specific benefit details will be provided during the application and offer process.
Location & Work Arrangement
- This role is based onsite only at the confidential client’s 4910 Tiedeman Road office in Brooklyn, OH. Candidates must be able to work from this location as required by the hiring team.
