What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Data Engineer to join their Data team in Highland Park, TX. This hands-on role focuses on building and maintaining reliable data pipelines and the platform that analytics and ML teams rely on.

• Build and maintain data pipelines to move data from source systems into Snowflake
• Support the data platform: orchestration, automated testing, and CI/CD for data workflows
• Partner with data scientists to build and operate ML pipelines (feature prep → model deployment)
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability and performance
• Work with analysts and business partners to ensure data accuracy, documentation, and usability
• Write clean, tested, version-controlled code

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT concepts, and relational data modeling
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
• Able to work on-site in Highland Park, TX (Dallas area)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience (including internships)
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow), or integration platforms
• Experience or exposure to MLOps / machine learning workflows

Compensation

• Base salary: $85,000 — $105,000 per year (depending on experience)

(Complies with applicable pay-transparency requirements for the job location.)

• This role requires authorization to work in the United States now and in the future.
• Confidential Client will not be able to sponsor U.S. work authorization for this position.
• This is an on-site role based in Highland Park, TX (Dallas area); candidates must be able to work in-office as required.
