Position summary
Confidential Client is hiring a Data Center Supervisor (D Shift) to lead a small production team responsible for receiving, staging, inventory control and the assembly/installation of server racks and components. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role supporting logistics and data center operations in Lancaster, OH. Shift: Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and lead production associates performing freight loading/unloading, inventory reconciliation, cycle counts and material replenishment.
- Oversee assembly and installation of server racks and related hardware, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
- Use multiple internal systems and dashboards to track materials, SLA performance and process compliance.
- Coach, advise and develop team members; resolve work-related questions and issues.
- Monitor production areas for accuracy, neatness and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Recommend, document and implement process improvements to increase safety, quality and efficiency.
- Perform hands-on tasks as needed to support the team and meet deadlines.
Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Typically 3–6 years’ experience in material handling, warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
- Entry-level leadership experience with strong interpersonal and analytic skills.
- Comfortable using multiple software systems, dashboards and reporting tools.
- Strong focus on safety, quality and meeting service level agreements.
- Able to pass required background checks, clearances and drug/alcohol screening where applicable.
Working conditions & requirements
- On-site role at Lancaster, OH (35 Technology Pl area). This role supports operations in a logistics/data center environment.
- Must be capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- May require federal/state/local government or airport clearances depending on site requirements.
- Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (D shift).
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base pay range: $70,000 – $75,000 per year. Actual pay will be based on experience, skills, education and applicable laws.
