Confidential Client is seeking a hands-on Data, Application & Automation Analyst to join a Service Delivery Center supporting Government & Public Sector work. In this role you will build, maintain, and improve data platforms, applications, integrations, reports, and automations that support client operations. Typical technologies include Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power BI or Tableau, SQL-based databases, scripting (Python/JavaScript/PowerShell), APIs, and scheduled data pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, test, document, and maintain components of data platforms, databases, applications, codebases, integrations, reports, dashboards, and business-process automations.
- Build and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) and related integrations.
- Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI tools.
- Write, test, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, transformations, and other database components.
- Support ETL/ELT processes: extraction, ingestion, transformation, loading, validation, and integration.
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot scheduled jobs, APIs, workflows, and automation errors.
- Participate in code reviews, execute test cases, document test results, and follow established release and change-management practices.
- Investigate data-quality issues, incomplete records, failed jobs, and integration failures; assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation: data flows, configuration details, operating procedures, release notes, and known-issue guidance.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, analysts, platform specialists, and engagement teams to clarify requirements and deliver defined work.
- Follow security, privacy, accessibility, and data-governance requirements applicable to government environments.
Required qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two years of related professional experience (or equivalent combination of internships, academic projects, and professional work).
- Hands-on experience or exposure to:
- SQL and relational-database concepts (queries, tables, data structures, data quality).
- Coding or scripting in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, R, or similar.
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and/or Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI tools.
- Data extraction, transformation, ingestion, validation, and integration processes.
- Familiarity with source control, testing practices, technical documentation, release procedures, and structured issue tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
- Comfortable working in-person as needed (role expectation: approximately 40–60% in-person, subject to client and business requirements).
Preferred / ideal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Pages, or Power BI semantic models.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake) or API/system-integration patterns.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational metrics for production systems.
- Experience supporting applications and data platforms in government or other secure, process-driven environments.
- Relevant certifications (Power Platform, Azure, data/BI, agile, or software development).

Compensation & work model (summary)
- This is a full-time position based in Jacksonville, FL with a hybrid teaming model (expectation ~40–60% in-person).
- The published U.S. base salary range for this role is $46,700 to $95,200 per year (geo- and role-specific ranges may vary; Confidential Client determines individual salaries based on experience, skills, and location).
