What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Data Analyst based in Washington, DC. You’ll work on real-world client projects to turn raw data into clear insights and visualizations that inform business decisions.
- Collect, clean, and organize datasets for analysis.
- Run exploratory analyses to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Build dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
- Prepare concise summaries and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
- Validate data accuracy and implement quality checks to ensure reliable outputs.
- Keep current on analytics best practices, tools, and industry trends.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; eager to learn Tableau or Power BI.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- U.S. work authorization is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience in data analysis, visualization, or reporting.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases.
- Basic knowledge of statistical concepts and tools (Python or R is a plus).
