What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst to support mission-critical database administration, data standardization, workflow management, and reporting in Waipahu, HI. This role centers on maintaining data quality, administering workflows, producing leadership-ready dashboards and metrics, and supporting intelligence and operational reporting requirements.

  • Work closely with client staff, analysts, and mission partners to plan, develop, analyze, and visualize information that supports operational, intelligence, and reporting objectives.
  • Serve as a database subject-matter expert: configure, maintain, and improve workflows, dashboards, visualizations, queries, and data sources.
  • Review, validate, standardize, and correct data entries to ensure accurate metadata, tagging, field descriptors, and references for reliable dashboards and metrics.
  • Manage intake and lifecycle of ad-hoc and standing requests, mission products, and related submissions, including serialization, routing, tracking, quality control, and status management.
  • Develop and deliver metrics, dashboards, visualizations, Congressional-description inputs, and briefing materials for senior-leader updates and Commanders Update Briefs.
  • Train personnel on database use, data-entry standards, and RFI administrative procedures; create user guides and process documentation.
  • Use approved Microsoft tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, Teams, SharePoint, Excel) to streamline data workflows and reporting processes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies, data analytics, information systems, knowledge management, criminal justice, or a related field — or equivalent experience (2+ years relevant experience required).
  • Demonstrated experience with database management and data entry.
  • Experience applying data-quality practices: standardization, metadata, tagging, validation, and discrepancy resolution for structured operational or intelligence information.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple information sources into coherent dashboards, reports, and briefing materials for senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and adapt to changing mission requirements.
  • Valid U.S. passport and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).

Preferred

  • Experience with Maven Smart System (MSS), Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE), or similar databases.
  • Experience supporting USPACOM or comparable intelligence/operational staff organizations.
  • Background in counter-drug, counter-threat finance, law-enforcement coordination, or transnational criminal organization mission sets.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms) and workflow automation.
  • All-source intelligence analysis, law-enforcement, interagency coordination, or intelligence-reporting experience.

Security Clearance

  • An active Top Secret clearance is required to apply; the selected candidate must be able to obtain Top Secret SCI eligibility prior to the start date.
  • Applicants must meet all government suitability requirements and possess a valid U.S. passport.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (provided by the client): $88,400 — $154,700 per year.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and paid holidays.
