What You’ll Do

This role supports development and maintenance of data-driven tools used for risk and threat assessment in a national-security context. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain tools that support risk and threat assessment activities.
• Integrate hardware and software solutions and assist with project planning and execution.
• Collect, normalize, and analyze data from multiple sources to produce actionable insights and operational tools.
• Manage data across its lifecycle: collection, storage, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
• Produce clear written and verbal briefings for senior/executive-level stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and interagency teams to deliver mission-driven solutions.

Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications below:

• Current U.S. Government final Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analysis, data science, computer/software engineering, or a related field, plus at least two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including experience applying artificial intelligence / machine learning techniques.
• Proven experience working with data throughout the full lifecycle (collection, management, analysis, reporting, secure disposition).
• Experience integrating hardware and software components and supporting project activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to maintain required security clearance.

Preferred / Helpful Experience

• Experience applying AI/ML in operational analytics or tool development.
• Familiarity with secure data handling practices in classified environments.
• Background supporting government or interagency technical programs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $95,000 – $110,000 per year.

Location & Work Type

• Job location: Virginia (VA). This position is listed as TELECOMMUTE (remote-capable) but may require on-site work or travel to government facilities as needed.
• The role requires the incumbent to hold and maintain the specified security clearance and meet any location/visit requirements for access to government sites.
