What You’ll Do

This confidential client is looking for a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that support product, operations, and business decisions. As a third-party recruiting partner, Careertakes has worked with the client to outline the core responsibilities below.

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure high-quality datasets
• Build dashboards and recurring reports to track KPIs and business performance
• Analyze trends, identify root causes, and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders
• Write and maintain SQL queries, automated extracts, and data pipelines (ETL) to support analytics
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations) to scope analyses and translate results into business actions
• Document methods, assumptions, and data definitions to maintain reproducibility and transparency

Who You Are / Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• 1+ years experience in a data-focused role (analyst, business analyst, junior data analyst, etc.)
• Proficiency writing SQL to extract and manipulate data
• Comfortable using spreadsheet tools (Excel or Google Sheets) for analysis and ad-hoc reporting
• Experience building reports or dashboards in a BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills — able to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Prior experience in recruiting technology, HR tech, marketplace, or operations analytics
